The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America [FOCA] invites all Orthodox Christian youth to enter its 2018 “Celebration of Faith” contest.
This year’s contest theme is “For the Life of the World,” which is also the theme of the Orthodox Church in America’s 19th All-American Council inspired by the classic book of the same name by the late Protopresbyter Alexander Schmemann.
Entrants, who need not be FOCA members, are invited to create and submit original artistic pieces in the areas of literature, musical composition, photography and the visual arts. Cash prizes totaling $500.00 will be awarded. All entries must be sent no later than June 4, 2018 to the FOCA Celebration of Faith, c/o Danielle Kovach, 8 Ginesi Drive, Clark, NJ 07066; dkovach517@aol.com. All entries will be displayed at the FOCA’s 92nd Annual Convention which will be held July 20-23, 2018 in conjunction with the 19th AAC at the historic Union Station Hotel in Saint Louis, MO.
