The results of a poll conducted by the Public Opinion Fund (POF) show that 66% of Russians – the population as a whole, without reference to one’s faith – trust the Russian Orthodox Church.
According to the poll, 63% of Russians consider themselves Orthodox believers reports the POF website.
As for the trust in the Church, the percentage of trusting respondents increased by 13 points (from 53% to 66%), compared to 2020 (March 8).
When the respondents were asked about trusting in Patriarch Kirill personally, 54% of them answered positively, and this is 15% more compared to March 2020 (39%).
The poll was conducted on April 8-10, 2022 in 53 regions of Russia. 1,500 respondents were polled in 104 settlements. The statistical error does not exceed 3.6%.
