Paramedic Anastasia Plakhina and driver Igor Kolesnikov from Tuapse, Krasnodar Territory, walked 1.5 kilometers through snowdrifts and saved the life of a 100-year-old patient.
The governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, spoke about the feat of two ambulance workers on his Instagram page.
“They went to the call early in the morning. But already on the road they realized that the car would not be able to drive to the house because of the high snowdrifts. Without hesitation, they took heavy oxygen tanks and walked 1.5 kilometers with flashlights and a navigator. They arrived in time to help the panting woman,” wrote the head of the region.
As the governor noted, Anastasia Plakhina and Igor Kolesnikov are “real doctors who are ready to fulfill their official duty under any conditions. Thanks to them for this!”
