Happy people will change the world, because they cannot be intimidated by any method said Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich) of Boryspil and Brovary, Chancellor of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reports Kp.ua.
“Who will change the world? Happy people will change the world. A happy person transforms his life and the lives of others. Unhappy people remain the slaves of their personal chains: their passions and sinful habits. Happiness loves freedom: the freedom from evil. Where there is evil, there cannot be happiness,” said Metropolitan Anthony.
The hierarch noted that happy people are those who love and express their gratitude, who comfort and bring joy to others, who forgive, who listen to the voice of God and hurry to fulfill His will, who see beauty that is around them and in other people, and who strive for wisdom and self-knowledge.
“The more happy people there are, the better our world will be. Happy people don’t fear. All of their main values aren’t of the material world, so no one can take them away from them,” Metropolitan Anthony emphasized.
The metropolitan believes that worldly masters are powerless against happy people, because they cannot frighten them by any methods.
“Just as one cannot order the sun not to rise, no one can force a happy person not to rejoice. Happiness is a paradise found in one’s soul. Happiness is awakening in God,” concluded Metropolitan Anthony.
