It is not the first time that the faithful of the St. Elizabeth Church have walked down the streets of their district with prayer. The religious procession is organized by Priest Vladimir Gasyukov, the rector of the church.
“This event is not aimed at merely uniting the parishioners, but also at reminding all residents of the district that they have their own church. This religious procession is associated with the feast day of the Kazan Icon of the Holy Theotokos and Unity Day,” Father Vladimir noted.
The route of this religious procession has been the same for years. It begins at the Church of St. Elizabeth itself, then crosses the streets of Voronezhskay, Signalnaya, Vyazemskaya, then turns to the Bolshaya street, and returns to the parish on Voronezhskaya street.
