For three years already Patriarch Kirill has headed the Russian Orthodox Church. Services, sermons, meetings, travel, flights – all this makes for a crazy schedule and hard work.
At his enthronement on February 1, 2009, Patriarch Kirill remarked: “Being Patriarch is first and foremost a very heavy cross. The Lord has called you to this service. This service entails cutting off everything connected with living a personal life.”
For three years already His Holiness has followed this path. Only a few moments of the Patriarch’s life and work have been captured on camera.
