Patriarch Kirill blessed the Russian Paralympic team on the eve of their departure to Vancouver.

The very fact that disabled people participate in sport competitions indicates their drive to prevail over sorrow and suffering, Kirill said, urging them to represent Russia with dignity in Vancouver.
